My love for interior design started at a young age.
For Crystal Maude Mountain, childhood play consisted of re-arranging her room, making pillows and DIY artwork. Ignoring the little voice in her head to pursue design, Crystal’s career path began in marketing and adverting, before acknowledging her true calling. After graduating from the Interior Decorating program from Humber College, Crystal launched Maude Interiors in 2008. Starting out with small interior decorating projects like colour consultations and staging jobs, Crystal was eager to learn more in the diverse industry.
In 2009 Crystal joined California Closets Toronto as design consultant. Working with this luxury lifestyle brand catapulted Crystal to a storage design expert. From walk in closets, media units to mudrooms, Crystal has designed hundreds of spaces for clients all over the GTA.
Crystal has also worked with award winning designer Yvonne Whelan on many residential and commercial projects. In February 2015, Crystal collaborated with Yvonne on re-designing the CBC – Q Studios.
Crystal has keen eye for beautiful aesthetics and space planning. Her background in storage design, and passion for lifestyle trends allows her to design and execute stunning and functional spaces for clients.
